Ann Froschauer is a national resources communications professional, working in Washington State for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. While the focus of her current position isn’t bats, they are her passion! Her interest in bats started at a young age, and Ann has been active in assisting with bat research, monitoring and surveys across the United States and in Mexico. In addition to field work, Ann is active in bat education and outreach, working with non-profit groups to raise awareness about bats and their important role in ecosystems around the world.
Ann holds a Master of Science in Natural Resource Management from The Ohio State University, where her research focused on risk communication and environmental decision-making
