Catherine Thomasson

Catherine Thomasson, MD  Senior Population Campaigner, directs campaigns to reduce threats to endangered species and wild places from exponential population growth by advancing reproductive health and reducing our environmental footprint.

Before joining the Center, Catherine was the executive director of Physicians for Social Responsibility advocating for policy to reduce climate change and abolish nuclear weapons. She has a medical degree from Wayne State University and has years of experience organizing and educating on environmental threats to health.
